High above Engelberg and the Titlis before your eyes - that's winter hiking on Lake Trübsee. A short winter hiking trail around Lake Trübsee, accompanied by a gigantic view.

From Engelberg railway station, take the short walk to the valley station under your feet or take the free sports bus to the valley station. High above Engelberg, after the gondola ride from the Titlis valley station to Trübsee, the magnificent view in the direction of Titlis and the snow-covered landscape awaits winter hikers.

The winter hiking trail starts right at the Trübsee mountain hotel and leads downhill past the slide park to Trübsee. Covered in snow and ice, you can't see why Lake Trübsee got its name. But it should be revealed that even in summer the mountain lake is filled with emerald green glacier water, which makes visitors wonder about its name. Walking along the markings and the Trübsee-Hopper chairlift, you can already see the next waypoint from a distance, the Restaurant Alpenstübli. From here, the winter hiking trail leads to Chrüzhubel on the left side of the lake and back to the mountain station on the right. The Titlis Xpress takes you back to the valley at the starting point of the Trübsee mountain station.
