The Berglodge Ristis is supplied with CO2-neutral electricity, partly solar power. Energy used for heating is compensated with Myclimate. The Buiding was completely renovated in summer 2019. In addition to 220 indoor and 250 outdoor seats and seven guest rooms with a total of 41 beds, investments were made in a photovoltaic system on the roof. These have now been awarded this week with the Swiss Solar PrizeDiploma 2021.
The Hotel Crystal is operated 100% Co2 free. On the roof there is a photovoltaic system, which covers almost 100% of the hotel's electricity needs on very sunny days. The share of self-produced solar energy in the Hotel Crystal is about 10% of the annual energy demand. The remaining electricity is generated by water power.
The hotel rooms and the hot water is heated by a heat pump from the ground water.
At Hotel Bellevue-Terminus is sustainability part of the corporate philosophy.
Therefore, in all departments and areas, the most sustainable and thus responsible ways are sought and implemented. Be it in employee planning or training, in the products used, in the renovation of the hotel built in 1898, ... For this commitment, the Hotel Bellevue-Terminus was awarded, among other things, as a "role model energy" and has received the sustainability level II of the Swisstainable from Switzerland Tourism.
The boutique Westside Store pays attention to environmentally and socially responsible collections in the selection of the assortment. The lighting of the store was completely converted to energy-saving LED spotlights by a local specialist company. The Swiss-made gift boxes and shopping bags are high-quality and reusable.
