By the water
Discover the most beautiful picnic spots right by the water. On hot summer days you can look forward to cooling off here!
Take the Brunni cable car to Ristis and from there walk or take the chairlift to Brunnihütte. There are several barbecue sites for picnics and a self-service restaurant.

Trübsee has a large themed playground including a picnic area with the theme of smugglers and muleteers. A large facility awaits you and your family. In addition, you will find further resting places on the matching themed hike around the lake.

On the adventure trail from Engelberg to Grafenort you will find two fireplaces. The places are roofed and equipped with wood and seating.
There are two fireplaces behind the Fürenalp valley station in the Schlänggenwald forest. The area is easily accessible by free bus or car and is pram-friendly. You will also find other nice places to picnic on the banks of the Engelberger Aa in the direction of Surenental.

From the mountain station of the Oberalp cable car, hike left in the direction of Eggen. The picnic area is located between Oberalp and the Chälenhütte in the middle of the mountain world at the Kernalpbach and the small "Chernopärsee". Up to 20 people can stay at this beautiful spot. There is a WC nearby and firewood is also available on the site.
Near playground
Here you will find all the fireplaces in the immediate vicinity of a playground. Fun and games for the whole family are guaranteed!
The Robinson playground is located on the valley floor in Engelberg, nestled in a small forest. The site is located directly on the water and has various picnic tables and fireplaces. This picnic area can be reached by a short walk from the village and is suitable for prams and wheelchairs.

The Brunni cable car takes you up to the Ristis. There you will find the large alpine playground with countless playground equipment and attractions for the little visitors. There are also various cosy picnic areas on the grounds that invite you to linger.

Take the Fürenalp cable car to Fürenalp. From there, the fireplace can be reached on foot in 2 minutes.

Take the Brunni cable car or walk to Brunnihütte. On the Walen Trail towards Walenalp you will find the Swiss Family Fireplace.

The fireplace is right next to the valley station of the Engstlenalp chairlift. The route can be shortened with various cable cars.

The fireplace is located in the Hungerbodenwald, a 10-minute walk from the Gerschnialp mountain station. Enjoy the fresh mountain air and spend pleasant hours outdoors.

From Ristis, the path leads away from the chairlift to the left in the direction of Rosenbold. The fireplace is halfway along the trail.

Take the Brunni cable car or walk to Ristis. From there, walk in the direction of Alp Rigidal. The fireplace is directly on the side of the path.
