Cross-Country (XCO) is the most popular discipline in mountain biking. In Engelberg, the race is held in the Hors Categorie (HC), where riders start in a mass start and compete over several laps on a challenging course with constant rhythm changes and rough terrain for the victory. In addition to the elite, youth categories all the way down to U9, as well as recreational cyclists in the fun category, can also race on the same course or its variations.

The Gusto Rides are all about relaxed get-togethers, discoveries, and culinary highlights: Whether you're a beginner, an advanced rider, a family, a gravel rider, an e-biker, or a leisure cyclist, all three tours – easyGusto, bikeGusto (Saturday), and BrunchRide (Sunday) – take you to the best mountain inns and past the most beautiful spots around Engelberg.

Food, drinks, laughter, and stories – at the event village near the Sportingpark, right on the start-finish straight, you can test the latest bike models for the upcoming season, learn from the pros in exciting workshops, and take a selfie with your favorite athletes during the autograph session. For the young ones, there’s the Talents & Skills course, where kids can improve their riding skills at 10 stations and compete in a fun little challenge.

As a volunteer at the Bike Revolution, you'll be right in the action: Whether it's at a course marshal station, in the start or finish area, or in the hospitality sector—there's a task for everyone. You’ll experience the exciting races up close with the best views of the athletes. As a thank-you, you'll receive an exclusive volunteer shirt and a packed goodie bag!
